Trans Pride Marches
 
Many places organize trans marches and other events that are attended by thousands of trans people and their allies.

Trans March
San Francisco, CA

The Trans March is an annual event that takes place the last Friday in June. It's is a grassroots community building political event, celebrating and welcoming transgender people of all types, and their supportive allies. The march is a demonstration of Trans visibility, inclusiveness, and civil rights.

Last year, the event brought together 7,500 transgender people and allies, and featured a 3-hour performance stage with over 20 different gender-variant musicians, political speakers, and live bands.

   

New England Transgender Pride March and Rally
North Hampton, MA

The first New England Transgender Pride March and Rally was held on June 7, 2008 in Northampton, MA. The event was organized by members of the trans and gender variant community, and their allies, with the intent of taking a visible and positive stand for transgender rights.

Trans Day of Action
New York, NY

On June 27, 2008, TGNC People of Color and allies took the streets of New York City once again and demand justice to let the world know that the Stonewall rebellion is not over and we will continue fighting for social and economic justice, raising our voices until we are heard.
